Join Kelli Russell Agodon and Susan Rich for the 10th Annual Poets on the Coast: A Weekend Writing Retreat for Women
September 11 - 13, 2020 in Cannon Beach, Oregon (about a 90-minute van ride/car ride from Portland, Oregon).
We come together to write, read and share our work inspired by visual art, seascapes, and creative community. This year we are proud to announce that our Visiting Writer will be Laura Da'. Our International Guest is Geraldine Mills.
GUEST POET: Laura Da’ is a poet and teacher. A lifetime resident of the Pacific Northwest, Da’ studied creative writing at the University of Washington and The Institute of American Indian Arts. Da’ is Eastern Shawnee. She is a recipient of the Native American Arts and Cultures Fellowship, an Artist Trust Fellowship, and fellowships from Hugo House and the Jack Straw Writers Program. Her first book, Tributaries, won the 2016 American Book Award. Her latest book is Instruments of the True Measure, published by the University of Arizona Press, Winner for the WA State Book Award, 2019.
GUEST POET: Geraldine Mills is a poet, fiction writer, and children's literature author joining us from Galway in the West of Ireland.Her fifth book of poems, BONE ROAD was recently published.
