Seattle WINTER Retreat in SEATTLE
with Susan Rich & Kelli Russell Agodon:
Saturday, February 6, 2016
South Lake Union, Seattle
Generating New Poems:
10 am – 1 pm
For poets who want to write new poems as well as submit their work to literary journals,
this is the class for you! We will try a wide array of writing exercises and spend the last half hour
discussing the submission process and answering your questions. $112
(NEW!) From The Art of Revision:
1:30 pm – 4:00 pm
This workshop is designed to help poets revise their poems--poems either written this morning or drafts you've struggled to complete. We'll look at several different strategies for revision including narrative, sound, and form. You'll leave with a tip sheet and reading list full of ideas on revision. A great session to help you re-jumpstart your poems. $112
Or spend the day and take both classes for $194 total
